Is Freedom Worth It?
“On April 26, 1777, 16-year-old Sybil Ludington rode nearly 40 miles to warn some 400 militiamen that the British troops were coming. Much like the ride of Paul Revere, Ludington’s message helped Patriot leaders prepare for battle.” National Geographic
Like Sybil who rode against the odds and the powerful elite of her time, we celebrate the pivotal role that history plays in shaping courage, justice, power, and progress in our world. But much has changed in the last 200 years. There is a calvary of new riders betting their lives on our endangered freedoms.
At WomanScape (WS), we believe this battle threatens inalienable, constitutionally protected rights and freedoms. Many of us are the victims of conditioning or complacency, naturally trusting what we see on television or read in mainstream newspapers. But what if we are headed away from freedom and instinctually sense something isn’t right?
We are at a precipice in history. We believe Sybil’s ride and our civil liberties are threatened if we are unwilling to dig beyond popular narratives and pundits telling us that anything other than submission and agreement is extremist or the product of conspiracy theories.
So, here’s the rub: what are you willing to risk for the truth and to protect freedom? Subscribe to our WS podcast, SIPPING on STORIES to hear probing interviews and discussions that delve into questions surrounding censorship, fact, and fear. We’ll consider the influence of big tech, big pharma and big government and what it means to freedom and access to information.
If you decide not to subscribe, that’s okay too. We appreciate your right to agree and, most importantly, to disagree. That’s why we’re refocusing our WS energies on current topics dedicated to freedom and truth. What remains unchanged is the joy and celebration we take in wishing each and every one of you all the blessings of freedom, today and every day!
