This week, WomanScape (WS) celebrates the greatest glories in living as we head into summer and find ways to fight the confusing truths in our world. There are more questions than answers sometimes, but no matter where we are,
“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
Hardly a cliché, this truth shines in Georgia Simmerling. She is one of the most inspiring women I have ever met who is competing in her fourth Olympics this summer in Tokyo. Were it not for a devastating accident just two weeks before the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, it would have been her fifth!
Georgia’s story of resilience is a jaw-dropping testament to C.S. Lewis’ philosophic wisdom. What is in our hearts arms us for battle —our convictions, our strengths, and our beliefs in a higher purpose which provide a never-ending opportunity to begin anew.
As a valued WS subscriber, click HERE to read about Georgia’s Olympic-sized story. In early 2021, WS caught up with Georgia who shared more in our Sipping on Stories (SOS) podcast. Tune in this Thursday, July 1st – Canada Day! – to hear this latest episode. Subscribe to SOS HERE and we’ll send you a FREE downloadable SUMMER SIPS drinks in time for the holiday weekend.
Have a great week and next Sunday is our last newsletter before we break for the summer. Live your best life every day as if it’s your last, and God bless,
Rose & Team WomanScape
