You are the reason we’re here so we’re it easier to read our stories.

Starting this week, you can read our content one week ahead. We also hope this encourages more time for sharing and real discussion about issues that matter in the world.

This second week of women in comedy, comes on the heels of the Oscars. This is the second consecutive year no one will host the award show and, to be honest, I’m sad. I loved watching Hollywood under fire. Sometimes the jokes by comedians on stage were critical, and at times questionable or tasteless, but they usually hit a chord of truth.

That’s what comedians do and this week is no different on WS. Monday’s WS Art Card features cartoonist and Pulitzer Prize winner, Sign Wilkinson. Her editorial cartoons are hard-hitting and often controversial art.

Wednesday and Friday features on WomanScape center on Lise Floris’ interview with rising comic, Jen Kober. Kober is making waves on Netflix and touring North America, and it’s simply impossible not to laugh at her humorous situations and candid reflections.
