Is the Universe Flowing Through You?

By June 25, 2018 One Comment

Everything in the universe has a purpose. Indeed, the invisible intelligence that flows through everything in a purposeful fashion is also flowing through you.

Wayne Dyer

I love this quote by American philosopher and motivational speaker, Wayne Dyer. It picks up on the water, a flowing theme central to WomanScape this June. Given our month-long push to save the ocean and our focus on sharing impactful ways to stop plastic pollution and toxic dumping, today’s video provides a good time to regroup.

What do you owe yourself and the world? Some people may say absolutely nothing. Perhaps they’re right. WomanScape believes people can and should establish their own set of values in life. But we also believe it’s important to dialogue and consistently re-frame how we see the world, especially because the world is ever-changing.

Today‘s article asks you to consider the role of a more collective individualism.

What if we saw our individual rights, freedoms and choices as a contributor to the larger good of society? Utilitarian? Yes. But Fabienne Fredrickson suggests it goes beyond that because giving of yourself is also better for you, the individual.

Even if you don‘t go the entire distance with Fabienne who goes even further and suggests it is our moral obligation to use our intelligence and be of service to others, any opportunity to explore your unique individual gifts is worthwhile. Whatever you decide, seeing your intelligence as a pan of baked brownies is certainly thought-provoking. Enjoy, and we‘d love to hear what you think.
